Traditional concrete grease interceptors can be complicated and expensive to install. Plus, many projects don’t have the space for large excavations — or the tolerance for the time and hassle involved.
Trapzilla is the better solution. It keeps kitchens in compliance by removing fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from wastewater, preventing costly clogs, backups and fines.
This powerful, yet compact, unit installs easily in locations where traditional concrete grease traps can’t fit. As water, FOG and solids enter the unit, the Trapzilla slows the water flow with innovative baffles, allowing grease to float to the top. At the same time, solids settle to the bottom of the unit.
Pre-treated water flows out. Trapzilla can hold up to 91% of its capacity in grease, almost four times the industry standard of 25%.
