Miami-Dade approved systems
Are you working on a project in Miami-Dade county? The TZ-1826 is the highest capacity single-unit approved by Miami-Dade!
With the updated FOG 2.0 Control Program it may seem overwhelming to provide restaurants with a simple, affordable, durable solution. You may be facing additional constraints, such as lack of space to install grease interceptors. You want to give your client’s the best design and not to design around a grease interceptor, or spend half the budget on meeting grease interceptor requirements.
We understand these concerns and have worked with city’s enforcing similar regulations to Miami DERM. That’s why, since 1983, we have been constantly improving our grease interceptor designs. We want to make sure we can provide you with the best performing FOG control devices on the market to provide you with more options. The TZ-1826 units hold the same amount of grease as a 1,000 gallon concrete interceptor, in about the third of the space.
Here are a few highlights of the FOG 2.0 requirements:
-Grease interceptors sized by an alternative calculations must meet a minimum removal efficiency of 99%
-Must have a solids separator
-Must have a sampling point
